We are Private Tours Alicante, a company created to offer the best experience and the best service to those who want to discover the city and the province of Alicante. This is a local project, carried out by official guides from Alicante. Get to discover Alicante with a local!

We only operate in our home, in the Province of Alicante. We understand that cities are constantly changing and evolving, and we want to be part of a positive change in the tourism industry, and in the province of Alicante. Offering a different type of tourism, we want to take care of the city that cares of us.

That is why, our mission is to respect our neighbours and our local companies, promoting good practices among our traveling friends.

For this reason, we collaborate only with local companies, we offer guided tours to local secondary schools to try to promote our history among the young people in Alicante. In addition, we also believe that it is our responsibility to help those less fortunate, which is why we do volunteer work and support NGO.

Alicante is not only sun and sand (we love that though), but a city full of life, history, folklore, traditions, gastronomy and culture. Come with us and discover the real Alicante, the one that is not shown in the travel guides!

Our Guides

María

María is the owner of this company. She is from Alicante. However, she has worked as a tour guide for over 10 years in different countries. Her passion for travelling brought her to work as a tour guide in Dublin, Madrid, Edinburgh, Barcelona and Iceland. However, she missed her hometown to much and decided to come back home: Alicante.

After working in different tour guide companies, she decided to create her own business: Private Tours Alicante to offer the real and local experience travellers look for when in Alicante.

During Covid, she created a Youtube Channel (in Spanish, sorry) that tells Alicante´s history. Therefore, she is very well known in Alicante and at the Market, her favourite part of the city. Discover the city with her means to immerse straight away in the culture of Alicante.
